 This will be a fun, interactive weekend held by the NSW Dickens Society in conjunction with the Australian Brontë Association and not to be missed!

 Country Weekend packages and accommodation are to be paid for separately.

 Choose from one of the 2014 Country Weekend event packages below

• Package One – Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Friday night entertainment; Saturday includes various sessions plus lunch, morning & afternoon teas & Saturday dinner all of which are held at the Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort; Sunday includes a session at Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort after which we’ll move to the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre for our final session & lunch. This package also includes entry to the Blue Mountains Art Gallery exhibition and the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre exhibition – $160 pp.

• (For those who wish to join us for dinner on Friday night at Waldorf’s Jasmine Restaurant it will be at your own expense and it’s up to you to book.)

• Package Two – Saturday & Sunday only. Saturday includes various sessions plus lunch, morning & afternoon teas & dinner all of which are held at the Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort; Sunday includes a session at Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort after which we’ll move to the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre for our final session & lunch. This package also includes entry to the Blue Mountains Art Gallery exhibition and the Blue Mountains Heritage Centre exhibition – $140 pp.

• Package Three – Saturday only. Held at the Waldorf Leura Gardens Resort the day only package includes various sessions plus lunch, morning & afternoon teas but no dinner – $80 pp.

Rooms are held at the following rates including full hot buffet breakfast;

Resort room @ $107 per night for up to 2 people, Deluxe resort room @ $125.00 per night for up to 2 people, Family Resort room @ $152.00 per night for up to 4 people and Family Suite @ $179.00 per night for up to 4 people. Those not staying at the hotel can purchase breakfast for $15 per person.

Getting there;  By car: From the city, follow the signs to Parramatta. The M4 Motorway starts at Strathfield through to Leura.

By train: From Central the journey to the Mountains takes about two hours and will most likely stop at Strathfield, Parramatta, Penrith, Emu Plains, and then all stations to Leura. Taxis to the venue will be available at the station. See http://www.transportnsw.info/ for train timetables.
